About

From the familiar corner of Broad and High Streets in our fair city:…this etching was done circa 1854, an included in Ohio historian, Henry Howe’s work on Ohio.  This was long before the Columbus we know now.  This has been the crossroads of not only local, but national history.  Passers-by, immigrants, migrants, and local citizenry have looked upon this very corner of Columbus, Ohio for nearly 200 years on their way to somewhere.

Today, this crossroads looks completely different (aside from the Capitol building still being where it was then), but it is still bustling with traffic, much as it always has …. just with a considerably faster pace, nowdays.
